About Us

our story

what brought aDHI About

The Anti-Dehumanisation Initiative (ADHI) was born out of a simple, urgent truth: the erosion of human dignity anywhere is a threat to humanity everywhere. What began as a response to rising patterns of systemic dehumanisation has grown into a global effort to research, track, and counter these dangerous trends. Rooted in data, informed by communities, and driven by action, ADHI stands at the intersection of research, advocacy, and policy.

We believe in building a future where every community is seen, heard, and treated with humanity.

founder & convener’s message

a word to the world

Dear Friends,

ADHI was established not just as a think tank, but as a force for transformation. In today’s world, where rhetoric and policies often strip communities of their humanity, we saw the need for a dedicated space to track, analyse, and resist.

This initiative is more than a research platform—it’s a collective commitment to safeguarding our shared humanity. Whether you’re here as a policymaker, academic, activist, or concerned global citizen, I invite you to be part of this urgent mission.

Together, we can shift the narrative—from dehumanisation to dignity.
